Greenland Group and Singapore Exchange Conduct Cross-Border Carbon Credit Trading

Golden Finance reports that Chinese real estate Greenland Group has entered into a partnership with Singapore’s digital stock exchange MetaVerse Green Exchange (MVGX) through its finance arm to provide cross-border digital carbon credit trading services. The partnership will allow accredited institutional investors to trade digital carbon credits on MVGX’s platform with QGreenland’s Guizhou Green Finance and Emissions Exchange, which currently serves only domestic Chinese investors. The two also plan to tokenize green infrastructure assets, creating a channel for international capital to finance green projects in China. (forkast)
