A man was Arrested by Hong Kong Police for Stealing US$190,000 Worth of Cryptocurrency

Golden Finance reports that Hong Kong police have arrested a man accused of stealing $191,085 from a cryptocurrency trader in what proved to be a fake transaction. No funds had been recovered at the time of the suspect’s arrest and an investigation is underway to see if the man had any accomplices. If convicted, the con man could now face 10 years in prison, a report said. As instructed, the victim transferred digital currency whichi is valued HK$1.5 million in to a designated e-wallet, but the buyer claimed he needed to go to the staff room to collect the money and backed out of the transaction. （news.bitcoin）
