Polygon partners with tech startup Nothing

July 6 – Polygon has entered into a partnership with tech startup Nothing to integrate Polygon’s technology into the company’s smartphone Nothing Phone(1), infusing the Android-based Nothing Phone(1) with easy access to apps, games, and Polygon ID. In addition, the two companies will launch an NFT membership club for those who crowdfund Nothing releases and those who pre-order the Nothing Phone(1) with Polygon’s blockchain-based NFT series Nothing’s Black Dot NFT.(Decrypt)

DeFi protocol Injective announces Cosm Wasm mainnet launch

July 6 – DeFi protocol Injective announced that the Injective CosmWasm mainnet upgrade is now live and smart contracts can now be deployed to the network via InjectiveCanonical1006-rc1 (or InjectiveCosmWasm mainnet upgrade). The upgrade also includes binary options support, rebate fees, cross-chain account support via IBCV3, and several other significant improvements. CosmWasm will support any developer building diverse applications on Injective using the existing core modules provided by Injective. A core example is Injective’s order book module, which allows builders to create dApps such as exchanges, prediction markets, lending agreements, etc. using the only out-of-the-box decentralized order book.
