a16z Crypto Releases NFT “Proof-of-Merge” to Commemorate the Ether Merger

On September 15, a16z Crypto released “Proof-of-Merge”, an NFT to commemorate the Ether merger, which users can cast for free before the merger takes place. The NFT is a dynamic NFT that outputs different metadata and illustrations depending on the value of “difficulty” and the estimated time of the merger, and features ASCII art with different visual effects in computer language. The life cycle of this NFT has three phases, all of which are based on the reading of the above mentioned “difficulty” embedded in the EVM. In the first stage, two separate circles are displayed during the pre-merge.
