Building a legal digital currency pilot area and digital financial system

According to the Beijing Daily, on November 24, the 35th meeting of the Standing Committee of the 15th Beijing Municipal People’s Congress held the first review of the “China (Beijing) Pilot Free Trade Zone Regulations (Draft)”. In terms of improving financial services, the draft regulations make specific provisions in various aspects, including encouraging financial institutions to expand their business, improving the layout of financial infrastructure, and enhancing financial services around key financial areas, including encouraging all kinds of financial institutions to settle in, supporting the People’s Bank of China to set up a financial technology center, building a pilot legal digital currency zone and a digital financial system, as well as facilitating cross-border capital flows and establishing a sound Financial risk monitoring and early warning mechanism, etc.

Yunnan Province completed 16 state (city) city nodes of blockchain service network

According to Yunnan Daily on Nov. 25, since the 13th Five-Year Plan, Yunnan Province has actively implemented the central government’s decision and deployment, insisted on systematic planning and promoted the construction of “Digital Yunnan” at a high level. Yunnan province has 42 data centers of various types in use and the arithmetic infrastructure has been continuously strengthened; 16 city nodes of blockchain service network have been built, making Yunnan the first province in China to complete the deployment of city nodes of blockchain service network in all states (cities); the first provincial blockchain center has been established and the first provincial blockchain traceability commodity code peacock code has been released.
