Uruguay Would Install First Cryptocurrency ATM

On December 17, EFA recently reported that at the beginning of 2022, Punta del Este, the center of summer social activities in the southern hemisphere which is located in the southeast of Uruguay, would own the first cryptocurrency automatic teller machine (UTM) in this South American country. According to InBierto and Urubit, the local companies responsible for manufacturing the machine, UTM will be used to trade Urubit and FerretToken, Uruguay’s cryptocurrencies. Users can convert these “tokens” into other cryptocurrencies, such as Bitcoin, Ether or Tether. They can also sell their own cryptocurrencies and receive money at the market price.

Voodoo, a French Mobile Game Developer, will Invest $200 Million in Blockchain Games

According to u.today’s report on December 16, Voodoo, a French mobile game developer supported by Goldman Sachs and Tencent, said on Thursday that it expects to invest $200 million in a studio focusing on blockchain game development.
