Fed Statement: The Federal Open Market Committee unanimously adopted new restrictions on investments and transactions by policymakers and senior Fed officials; the new rules require each Fed governor to disclose financial transactions within 30 days; the new rules also prohibit the use of derivatives, short sales or the purchase of securities on margin.
