OneRepublic Frontman Ryan Tedder Forms the Bored Brothers, a BAYC Metaverse Band

DeFi DAO – According to OneRepublic’s official social media accounts on April 21, the band’s frontman Ryan Ted has formed a “bored ape” BAYC spin-off metaverse band, the BoredBrothers, and has launched a fully animated recording artist project of the same name based on NFT. The first NFT track from BoredBrothers, “DRIP”, will reportedly be released on the music platform Sound this Friday, April 22nd at 5pm EST, and will be available for a total of 300 NFTs for 0.1 ETH, with only BAYC holders receiving Pre-sale access benefits.

Nigeria’s Minister of Communications and Digital Economy Department calls for Deployment of Blockchain Technology in Education

According to Nairametrics on 21 April, Nigeria’s Ministry of Communications and Digital Economy has called on the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) to promote the use of emerging technologies such as blockchain for the development of the education sector in Nigeria. Minister IsaPantami noted that “the deployment of blockchain technology in Nigeria’s higher education institutions will help maintain data integrity and improve efficiency in the management of certificates, transcripts and records, among others.”
