Crypto Mining Found in Russia’s Oldest Prison

An official at the Butyrskaya (also known as Butyrka) prison, built in 1771 in the Tverskoy district of central Moscow, is under investigation for possibly abusing his position to set up a crypto mine, the mining machine was found in the prison’s psychiatric clinic, and so far investigators have determined that the official and his as-yet-unidentified accomplices in 2021 November when the miners were installed.
