ECB’s Lagarde: will Support Digital Euro although Cryptocurrencies have no Value

Recently, the European Central Bank’s Christine Lagarde said that while cryptocurrencies have no value, she would support the digital euro. Lagarde said “I have always said that crypto assets are highly speculative and very dangerous assets, and my very modest assessment is that it is worthless, it has no basis, there is no underlying asset that can act as a safety anchor.” Lagarde, however, said the digital euro would be different. Former CFTC Official Salman Banaei Joins Uniswap Labs as Head of Policy

May 22 – SalmanBanaei, a former member of the CFTC’s Market Risk Advisory Committee, has announced that he has joined UniswapLabs as Head of Policy, responsible for policy makers. salmanBanaei previously worked at the CFTC for seven years before and after joining Chainalysis in 2021 as Co-Head of Public Policy.
