Genesis no longer serves as an authorized participant in the Grayscale Crypto Trust product

Golden Finance reports that Grayscale is launching a new broker-dealer, Grayscale Securities, as an authorized participant in its crypto trust products, according to a new regulatory filing with the securities firm. The new unit will replace sister company Genesis, which has been embattled by the Three Arrows Capital crash. Grayscale Securities, a registered broker-dealer with members of the SEC and FINRA, will serve as the sole authorized participant. genesis will continue to act as a liquidity provider, sourcing cryptocurrencies for the trust. The transition period is effective October 3.

Shares of the new WisdomTree Investments fund can be managed on Ether or Stellar’s blockchain

Golden Finance reports that shares in a new fund from U.S. exchange-traded fund WisdomTree Investments can be managed on the blockchain of the Ether or Stellar crypto networks, marking the first foray into blockchain trading by an ETF player. WisdomTree Investments, a U.S. exchange-traded fund, is said to be a New York-based exchange-traded fund and exchange-traded product sponsor and asset manager with more than $70 billion in assets under management.
