Building an Open and Diverse Application Ecosystem, PlatON’s Online Hackathon Rounded off

Recently, the PlatON Grant Hackathon hosted by the privacy-preserving AI network PlatON has come to an end on DoraHacks’ developer platform HackerLink.

As the network’s first hackathon event since the launch of its mainnet, the PlatON Grant Hackathon represents PlatON’s first attempt to pursue its vision of gathering global developers and building an open technology ecosystem. As PlatON started the application process of the event, we have felt the great enthusiasm of community developers for technology and applications. To demonstrate their technical prowess, nearly a hundred tech teams from Asia, Europe, North America, Africa, and Oceania applied for the PlatON Grant Hackathon.

At the same time, the participating teams also received different rewards from the hackathon. The 31 participating teams from around the world submitted project applications through DoraHacks’ open source developer platform HackerLink and received a total ATP funding of $71,200, including the $17,800 ATP quadratic prize pool, the $35,600 judge prize pool, and ATP community donations of $17,800. In addition, eight outstanding projects qualified in the screening process and received votes from the judges.

The top three projects ranked by judge voting are:

First place winners (tied): Itheum, ShowMe;

Second place winners (tied): Dante, Privacy-preserving Recommender System, PlatON Studio Integrated Development Environment;

Third place winners (tied): S-world Metaverse Game, Pumo Finance, LionSwap;

The top 5 projects ranked by popularity (HackerLink community votes) are:

Subscription allows creators to flexibly set a variety of subscription methods to enter the Club, including free subscription, paid subscription and specific NFT or Token entry for holding positions. NFT membership is a membership system that can be automatically upgraded on the chain, and each fan is accurately measured through the level and number of NFTs. Naas is NFT-as-a-service, which supports NFT sales and the exchange of rights, content, goods, and services.

Second place projects (tied):

Dante (a privacy-preserving storage platform)

Full name: Privacy-preserving storage — verifiable off-chain storage

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1092?roundProj=804

The mission of Dante Network is to become the security station for the free circulation of digital assets. Dante Network aims to be part of the PlatON ecosystem, working with PlatON and other parties in the ecosystem to secure the privacy of all participants in the ecosystem in the key areas such as data circulation, storage, calculating, and ensuring the data owners to keep the data sovereignty and protect their information privacy to gain their due rights and interests in the process of the increasing value of their data circulation.

Privacy RecSys (Guess Your Favorites)

Full name: A Study of Recommender System Based on Privacy-preserving Computation

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1049?roundProj=784

QianQian Community’s Privacy RecSys makes it possible for multiple parties to make safe and effective use of data by combining privacy computing, fundamentally solving the problem of user data being processed explicitly by the underlying algorithm of the recommendation system, and breaking down data silos and encrypting the use of federal learning in the case of data ascertainment.

PlatON Studio Integrated Development Environment

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1095?roundProj=806

PlatON Studio is an IDE for developing smart contracts on PlatON/Alaya networks. It supports major OS like Windows, macOS and Linux and is an open-source freeware. It is the official PlatON IDE with built-in contract code editor, solidity compiler, keypair manager, manager for local and remote networks, explorer and contract inspector, allowing developers to start EVM/WASM contract development instantly from a standalone installation. PlatON Studio also supports low-level RPC client and raw transaction inspector for advanced developers’use and specifically designed to handle projects of any scale.

Third place projects (tied):

S-world Metaverse Game (a Web3.0 simulation & growth game platform)

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1114?roundProj=815

The project strives to build a community-based metaverse game focusing on simulation & growth. Through the virtual life in the community, players can go through real-life experiences like dining and traveling. Additionally, players can also create personalized avatars in the community, where they can communicate and party with strangers, and invite them to experience the game together. To offer different experiences, the platform has introduced different scenarios, including conference room, chat room, game room, etc. In the virtual world created by the platform, players can experience things that are not available in real life due to many objective limits, which promises great gaming experiences and immersive participation.

Pumo Finance (a synthetic asset issuance protocol and trading platform based on the Alaya blockchain)

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1103?roundProj=812

Pumo Finace is a synthetic asset issuance protocol and trading platform based on the Alaya blockchain. Users can stake their original tokens, such as AETH, ATP, etc., to mint synthetic assets. Users can mint synthetic asset by means of staking the original asset. The synthetic asset has an intrinsic value ratio of 1:1 to the underlying asset, such as the stable currency PUSD (1 USDP = 1 USDT). The core components/modules of the Pumo Finance network include assets staking and minting, debt systems, asset swap exchange, insurance pools, and oracle.

LionSwap (a liquidity verification platform on Alaya)

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1055?roundProj=786

LionSwap aims to create a decentralized, censorship-resistant, and secure multifunctional platform that eliminates trusted intermediaries. It creates a positive cycle where segments such as Swap, NFT, and DAO are integrated and mutually reinforcing.

LionSwap solves the issue of liquidity concerning users’ assets on PlatON/Alaya and provides the liquidity and value-adding channels of digital assets for the PlatON/Alaya ecosystem. Meanwhile, as it continues to expand its application ecosystem, the platform has introduced a certain innovation to the management of financial risks. While the users of LionSwap bring traffic to the PlatON/Alaya ecosystem, the innovative design of scenario-specific applications also brings more diversity to the community. Lionswap will also empower NFT with community autonomy system for intellectual property rights to vigorously supporting NFT ecological construction.

#5 PIX

Link: https://hackerlink.io/buidl/1123?roundProj=823

This project covers PIXAPP (for IOS and Android systems) and PC application (explorer-based plug-in wallet) and platform back-end management system. The wallet manages vNFT, including the functions available to users on the major public chains, such as vNFT asset visualization, transfers, and the display of market conditions.

vNFT adds computability to NFTs (non-homogeneous tokens). To be more specific, it introduces “quantity” as a core attribute of NFTs while maintaining their powerful and personalized description capacity. Computable NFTs can be regarded as “super NFTs” that are compatible with ERC721 and feature the advantages of both ERC20 and ERC721. The super NFT is a general-purpose non-currency protocol for digital asset description that can be extensively used for the description and manifestation of digital artworks, digital publications, digital tickets, and standardized virtual goods. It also has the potential to be an ideal protocol that manifests offline physical goods on blockchains.

About PlatON

Started and promoted by the LatticeX Foundation, PlatON is a blockchain project backed by a privacy-preserving computation network. It offers the next-generation Internet base protocol featuring the core function of “computational interoperability”. PlatON has built a computation system that combines cryptographic algorithms and blockchain technologies such as verifiable computation, secure multi-party computation, zero-knowledge proof, and homomorphic encryption, offering a public infrastructure with an open source architecture for global AI, developers of distributed applications, and data providers, as well as institutions, communities, and individuals with computation demands.

About Alaya

As the meta network of PlatON, Alaya is a basic prototype and “business sandbox” for a new generation of financial infrastructures. It is also a “pilot zone” for the global next-generation privacy-preserving computation architecture and data asset computation infrastructure. Although Alaya shares the same underlying technologies as PlatON, it maintains a different level of openness and activity. Driven by the same visions and concepts, Alaya and PlatON pursue different development paths and specializations in different stages.
