Meta Chief Operating Officer Sandberg announces departure

Golden Finance reported that Meta COO Sheryl Sandberg reportedly announced on Wednesday local time that she would step down as Meta COO. Facebook CEO Zuckerberg said that Meta would undergo an internal restructuring to coincide with the realignment. Sandberg joined Facebook in 2008 as the company’s number two person. This fall, Meta’s chief growth officer Javier Oliven will replace Sandberg as the new COO, although Sandberg will remain a director of the company.

FTX overtakes Coinbase to become the second largest centralised cryptocurrency exchange

In terms of market share, FTX overtook Coinbase in May this year to become the second largest centralised cryptocurrency exchange, according to data compiled by The Block Research. As of today, Coinan still dominates with a 64.1% market share, followed by FTX (10.8%) and Coinbase (9.6%). Following Coinbase are Kraken (3.7%), Bitfinex (2.6%) and LMAX Digital (2.6%) respectively.
