01—Technological Progress

PlatON

PlatON 1.4.1: EVM adaptation for the Ethereum London upgrade and support for EIP 1559/2930. The relevant modules of the PlatON network were refactored. Testing is underway.

PlatScan

PlatScan 1.4.0: Issues with proxy contract identification and display of transfer records inside the contract were fixed.

PlatON Wallet

PlatON Wallet: Basic wallet functions (transfer, wallet information display) as well as integration with Alchemy Pay and PlatON Bridge were developed. Internal validation is underway.

PlatON Application Chain

PlatON application chain: Discussions and architectural design for HSK-Chain sidechain requirements were completed, with feature development underway.

BonusPay

（1) BonusPay 1.2 (optimization and supplementation): The cashier function for merchants was developed and certain modules in the merchant management system optimized. Internal testing and acceptance is underway.

（2) Multi-signature Contract-Wallet (EIP 4337): A multi-signature contract wallet with EIP-4337 (abstract account) functionality was developed, and documentation for developers is being written.

DCS

Basic DCS functions were developed and tested.

[PlatON to Unveil Wallet Plugin Services for Ecosystem Partners]

PlatON, a digital public infrastructure, will launch wallet plugin services for its ecosystem partners. The plugin features seamless compatibility with decentralized wallets supported by existing projects, cross-chain transfers, as well as Alchemy Pay on/off-ramp. Additionally, future updates of the plugin will include features such as cross-chain and cross-coin swaps, encrypted payment-based transaction authentication, prepaid card sales, and virtual VISA cards.

PlatON will incorporate privacy-preserving computation capabilities into real-life distributed financial infrastructure (mainly payment & settlement facilities) and provide comprehensive payment and settlement standards and solutions for all ecosystem partners. The network aims to make crypto and decentralized financial infrastructure more accessible to Web2 users, enabling traditional businesses to operate more efficiently, securely, and compliantly by leveraging decentralized payment capabilities.

[NiftyIN to integrate PlatON’s Wallet Plugin and Upgrade Its Payment Channel on June 10]

NiftyIN, a multi-chain aggregation platform focused on NFT and GameFi, will officially integrate PlatON’s wallet plugin into its V2.9.2, which is scheduled to be released on June 10, and upgrade the payment channel to enhance user payment experience. PlatON’s wallet plugin allows users to easily and quickly deposit, withdraw, purchase and swap cryptos across chains on the PlatON network. What’s more, with the plugin, NiftyIN users can effortlessly access the assets they want and smoothly deploy, release, and purchase NFTs on the platform.

[Web3 Global Entrepreneurship Competition “HAPathon 2023” Successfully Concludes]

The Web3 Global Entrepreneurship Competition “HAPathon 2023”, co-hosted by PlatON, Alibaba Cloud, and HashKey Group and co-organized by Hong Kong Cyberport, concluded successfully on May 11. Parallel, NiftyIN, ZK-Match, and ZK-Match were crowned champions of the Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore, and Bangkok stops respectively.The competition has provided various platforms and opportunities for participating Web3 startups and projects to connect with the community and potential investors.

Lilin Sun, Founder of PlatON, said: “PlatON has always been committed to the ecological construction of Web3. We are very happy that so many teams participated in the competition. Everyone contributed their ideas from various fields (NFT tool platform, ZK, middleware). We firmly believe that this hackathon is just the starting point. [PlatON Works with BugRap to Launch a $50,000 Bug Bounty Program on BugRap]

PlatON has established a partnership with BugRap and launched a $50,000 bug bounty program #BugBounty on BugRap.This initiative will assist us in identifying and resolving potential security vulnerabilities more effectively, resulting in a safer and more robust Platon blockchain ecosystem.

[PlatON Attends Bangkok DAO WEB3 Crypto Party]

On May 13, PlatON attended the Bangkok DAO WEB3 Crypto Party, which was hosted by CITEX and co-organized by Meta Media, Taikul, Noah’s Ark, and UnionPay.The purpose of this party is to provide a better resource docking bridge for blockchain enthusiasts, provide a better entrepreneurial environment and resources for cryptocurrency and WEB3 entrepreneurs, and put forward more constructive suggestions for the development of the industry. At the same time, the Bangkok government has been supporting and promoting blockchain technology, and has provided certain support through legislation and investment.

[NiftyIN Kicks off NiftyIN Global Show]

On May 17, NiftyIN, a project in the PlatON ecosystem, officially launched NiftyIN Global Show, a 30-day AI&NFT creative world tour event. The NFT collection of the event will be deployed on the PlatON network.

[PlatON Hosts a Twitter Spaces Event Themed “What Should We Follow When the WEB3 Narrative Turns to AI”]

On May 26, PlatON held a Twitter Spaces event with the theme “What Should We Follow When the WEB3 Narrative Turns to AI”. Molodao, TWIPLAY, and NiftyIN attended the event and shared views on topics such as “how AI and Web3 will interact with each other” and “the impact of AI on the investment and financing industry”.
