01—Technological Progress

（1）The functionality verification of PlatON 1.3.1 has been completed, and the Devnet is undergoing the v1.3.1 upgrade. Primary updates:

Previously, some nodes suffered P2P disconnection and zero block generation due to judgment errors when there are nodes breaking the rules of the consensus; the upgrade fixed the errors;
Before the upgrade, nodes that exited while executing a block would encounter abnormal coroutine synchronization, which would lead to abnormal transaction results; this problem has also been fixed.

（2）ATON 1.1.9v: Delegated locking has been developed, and the new version is now live.

（3）ATON 2.0v: This new version, which introduces DAPP capacity to the network, has been developed. It is now undergoing testing (60%), which is expected to be completed by the end of 2022.

02—PlatON News

[PlatON’s PIP-10 Proposal is officially live at v1.3.0]

PlatON’s on-chain governance upgrade voting for the PIP-10 proposal ended at 11:23:28 on November 9, 2022, with 89.18% of the nodes voting in favor of the proposal. PlatON v1.3.0 has become officially live at block height 45,531,841. The new version introduced Delegated Locking (de-delegated tokens will be locked for 56 epochs). Meanwhile, with PlatON v1.3.0, the EVM now returns the new ChainID (210425).

At the same time, ATON Wallet has released v1.1.9 to adapt to PlatON v1.3.0. All users are encouraged to complete the upgrade as soon as possible.

[PlatON, Alibaba and CloudHashKey Group to Co-Develop Infrastructure and Technology Platform for Web3.0 Developers]

On November 29, 2022, PlatON announced that it will build an infrastructure and technology platform for Web3 developers in partnership with HashKey Group, a Hong Kong-based end-to-end digital asset financial services group, and Alibaba Cloud, the digital technology and intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group.

The platform will support Web3.0 developers with comprehensive back-end technology infrastructure, covering services such as cloud platform, multi-chain infrastructure, and decentralized identity (DID). The out-of-the-box tools will free developers from back-end maintenance tasks, allowing them to focus on building their Web3.0 applications in the metaverse, gaming, and social media, among other categories.

03—Ecosystem Collaboration

[Ceres’ Oracle Data and SBT Minting Contracts Officially Deployed on PlatON]

Ceres, infrastructure as a Service for Trustworthy Web3.0 Networks, announced a strategic partnership with the privacy-preserving computation network PlatON. The platform officially deployed its oracle data and SBT minting contracts on PlatON. Going forward, the two will explore privacy-preserving computation through more joint efforts.

[Bitizen Wallet Joins the PlatON Ecosystem to Empower the Privacy-preserving AI Computation Network]

Bitizen Wallet announced a partnership with PlatON and support PlatON in building the privacy-preserving AI network and promoting MPC technology. With Bitizen Wallet, a new generation MPC-based Web3 wallet without private keys and seed phrases, users can participate directly in the PlatON ecosystem and seamlessly transfer their digital assets across multiple networks while maintaining their privacy. In the future, the two sides will carry out deeper cooperation based on privacy, data, and security to jointly promote the large-scale application of Web3.

[WOO3 Integrates With the PlatON Ecosystem: Mint and Distribute Reputation SBTs Through WOO3 on PlatON]

WOO3, a DAO reputation and governance platform, has become available on the privacy-preserving computation network PlatON, and users can now mint and distribute SBTs corresponding to all the reputations within its system directly on the PlatON blockchain. Through WOO3, the contributions and achievements of DAO members can be easily recorded on the chain in the form of SBT, and cannot be transferred or sold. Meanwhile, DAO governance can be carried out based on these SBTs, such as voting, identity management, proof of attendance, organizational structure, etc.

[Nabox Officially Supports the Privacy-preserving Computation Network PlatON]

On November 25, Nabox announced that it will support the privacy-preserving computation network PlatON, and PlatON users can now safely and easily protect and manage their assets, DApps, and NFTs through Nabox Wallet.

04—Community Events

On November 3, PlatON CTO James Qu attended the Twitter Space event themed “Conversation with Crypto Big Shots: Will Privacy Become the Next Blockchain Narrative?” and shared his thoughts on topics that include the changes in technology and applications that triggered the boom of the privacy category, the challenges and obstacles in the mass adoption of privacy applications, and whether the privacy-preserving public chains can disrupt traditional public chains.

On November 4, PlatON CTO James Qu attended the “What is your opinion on “Multi-chain GameFi?” Twitter Space event hosted by Playverse and shared his views on issues relating to GameFi.

The PlatON Web3 Developer Meetup was held in Vietnam on November 8.

On November 25, PlatON, SlowMist, Cobo, Safeheron, and AlphaWallet attended the Twitter Space event on the theme of “Walk through the Web3 Dark Forest: How do I protect my Assets?”, which was co-hosted by TECH FLOW and Bitizen. The event discussed a wide range of topics, including the impacts brought by the trust crisis of centralized custody on crypto exchanges and the blockchain security industry, the shortcomings of the trending Proof of Reserves or Merkle Tree, and alternative solutions to blockchain security.

PlatON and CryptoCity co-hosted an AMA event with rewards for participants on November 25.
