At 12:29 a.m. on April 25, 2021, Singapore time, the pre-deployed network creation block of Platon, a private AI computing network, was born and started producing blocks smoothly. In a sign of PlatON provids release process.
Platon’s mainnet release will follow a community-driven model based on the concept of decentralized operation, and will only be released after the community has completed acceptance and voted approval of the pre-deployed network.
After the pre-deployed network is released, it will be reviewed in stages for final review and initial allocation of LAT. At the same time, the Latticex Foundation will invite a total of approximately 1,000 community contributors to participate in a full community acceptance process, and upon completion, an on-chain vote will be held to approve the pre-deployed network as the Platon mainnet.
On-chain voting will take the form of NFT transfer, and after Platon’s pre-deployment network goes live on April 25, the PRC-721 contract will be deployed on that network to cast a dedicated NFT: Vote.
Community contributors, including nodes, developers, investors, and active members of the community with an account balance exceeding 2000LAT in the initial allocation, will be able to VOTE with Vote NFT. To ensure that all contributors can vote equally, all eligible wallet addresses can receive one NFT vote and only one NFT vote. The number of votes received is independent of the balance of the eligible wallet address.
Voting will begin at 12:29 a.m. on April 28, and if community contributors support the pre-deployed network becoming Platon, they will be deemed to have voted yes by forwarding their NFT votes to the designated address.

After the vote ends at 12:29 on April 30, if the support rate is more than 50%, the community votes to approve the current pre-deployed network will become the Platon mainnet; If the support rate is less than 50%, the community vote is not passed, and a new round of pre-deployment, community acceptance and voting process will be re-started at a selected date.
