Since the release of PlatON mainnet, we have received valuable suggestions from the community about the calculation of Circulation and the total supply of $LAT on PlatScan.
PlatScan will be updated to be able to more clearly and directly reflect the actual situation of $LAT circulation and total supply, and it will be closer to the user’s habits and the algorithm of price-tracking websites.
Updates are as follows：
🟢CIRCULATING
The CIRCULATING will show the total amount of LAT currently in circulation in real-time.
CIRCULATING = Total Supply — Locked Balance — Staking contract Balance — Delegated Award Contract Balance — Reward Pool Balance — All Foundation Account Balance
🟢Supply Volume
Also, this update will apply a more straightforward formula to the total supply volume.
Total Supply = 10 billion × (1 + 2.5%) ^ number of years
The 10 billion is the initial LAT supply, and 2.5% is the percentage of incremental supply for each year.
🟢Stake Rate
The formula for calculating the Stake Rate is also optimized in this update.
Total Staking = Real-Time Staking Contract Balance
Stake Rate = Staking Contract Balance ÷ (Total Supply — Staking contract Balance — Delegated Award Contract Balance — All Foundation Accounts Balance)
